Sr/Staff Product Manager (Machine Learning Research)

Join Runway, a market-defining company in its early stages, as a Sr/Staff Product Manager (Machine Learning Research). In this role, you will work closely with our research team to define new AI applications that solve customer needs and drive business value. You will collaborate with engineering and design to productize research and continuously improve existing tools. You will also define and analyze metrics, talk with users weekly, and conduct A/B tests to discover use cases, validate pain points, and prioritize features. This is a critical role for someone with a strong technical or ML background and experience in product management.

• Collaborate with the research team to define new AI applications that address customer needs and drive business value.
• Work closely with engineering and design teams to productize research and continuously improve existing tools.
• Define and analyze metrics, conduct A/B tests, and engage with users to discover use cases, validate pain points, and prioritize features.
• Familiarity with the current state-of-the-art ML capabilities and ML products
• Experience working with fast-moving teams and building products from scratch
• Passion for seeing research through from initial conception to ultimate application
• This role is for someone who has a combination of strong technical or ML background and experience in product management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 4+ years of product management experience
• 1+ years of direct experience with SQL, python, code generation tools, and version control best practices
