Staff Accountant

Join our Finance team as a Staff Accountant in San Francisco. You will be responsible for the monthly close for inventory, hardware COGS, and fixed assets, as well as supporting T&E management and subsidiary revenue accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career looking to gain expertise in cost accounting within a fast-paced technology company serving the restaurant industry.

• Préparer et enregistrer les écritures de journal mensuelles pour l'inventaire, les coûts matériels et les actifs fixes, en veillant à l'exactitude et à la documentation de soutien appropriée.
• Gérer le processus comptable des dépenses de voyage et de divertissement (T&E), y compris la révision des soumissions de dépenses, la révision des écritures de journal, la réconciliation des rapports de la plateforme de dépenses au grand livre.
• Working knowledge of cost accounting concepts, including COGS, inventory valuation, and fixed asset accounting
• Clear written and verbal communication skills — able to summarize accounting issues for non-finance stakeholders
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a technology, hardware, or product-based company; public accounting experience is a plus
• Willingness and desire to build automations using AI tools such as Gemini and/or Claude
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience building and maintaining reconciliation templates
• Experience preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in a mid-to-large ERP system
• Comfort working with data and reports to support month-end close and variance analysis
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines during close
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA candidate or active CPA license
