Golang Engineer (SRE Engineering Productivity)

Join Arista Networks as a Golang Engineer in the Engineering Productivity (EngProd) team. You will collaborate with other engineers to design, build, scale, and operate systems used by Arista's development teams. Your role will encompass all aspects of software development, from adding new features to debugging and fine-tuning code for scalability and performance. You will own your projects from definition to deployment and customer interactions, and you will be responsible for the quality of everything you deliver. • Collaborate with other engineers to design, build, scale, and operate systems used by development teams.
• Review and contribute to specifications and implementations, design and develop features, and fix bugs as needed.
• Identify bottlenecks and limitations in workflows, tooling, and infrastructure, and provide fixes for those problems.
• Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of one of operating systems, networking systems, distributed systems
• Ability to design a solution and implement features independently. Ability to work in small teams
• At least BS Computer Science + 3 years’ experience, MS Computer Science + 2 years’ experience, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of one or more of Go, Python, Javascript, C++, Java
• Applied understanding of software engineering principles
• Knowledge of Linux (or UNIX)
