Senior/Lead Software Engineer (Packet Forwarding Engines)

As a Senior/Lead Software Engineer, you will be part of a high-caliber team responsible for developing packet forwarding engine and system software. Your work will be integral to Arista's Extensible Operating System (EOS) and will involve writing specifications, designing solutions, implementing code, and supporting customers. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall success of the team.

• Participer activement au développement et à la livraison du logiciel de moteur de transfert de paquets basé sur ASIC, en écrivant des spécifications fonctionnelles, des spécifications de conception, des plans de test et du code.

• Knowledge of UNIX or Linux
• Understanding of IP networking or distributed systems
• Experience or knowledge in the following:
• C or C++
• Applied understanding of software engineering principles
• BS Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering + 8 years experience, or MS Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering + 6 years experience, or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering + 3 years experience, or equivalent work experience
• Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills
