Vice President of Finance

Join Ready, a rapidly growing venture-backed SaaS company, as the Vice President of Finance. In this strategic and operational role, you will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to shape our financial strategy, build scalable finance and compliance functions, and prepare the company for a SPAC IPO in 2027. This is a remote-first position based in the Bay Area, with frequent travel required.

• Lead the financial strategy and long-term capital planning through SPAC IPO execution targeted for 2027.
• Build scalable finance, accounting, FP&A, and compliance functions aligned with rapid growth.
• Establish the financial foundation required to scale a venture-backed SaaS business while preparing the company for the rigor, transparency, and execution required of a public company.
• Experience scaling financial operations in a high-growth startup environment
• Deep understanding of capital markets, investor relations, and public company reporting
• Direct experience leading or playing a key leadership role in an IPO or SPAC transaction
• Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
• Exceptional communication skills with investors, boards, and cross-functional leaders
• Strong operational mindset — comfortable moving between strategy and execution
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with founders and executive teams
• Proven experience serving as senior finance executive at a venture-backed company
• Prior SPAC transaction experience
• Experience in a hardware or deep-tech company alongside software/SaaS operations
• Background supporting companies selling into regulated or public-sector environments
• Experience working with federal or government markets
