About The Role

Join our team as a Staff Software Technical Program Manager, where you will lead the development and delivery of fleetwide RFID solutions to retailers worldwide. You will drive successful product development and launch, manage complex software programs, and facilitate effective collaboration among cross-functional teams. This role requires a strong technical background in software development and test, as well as excellent program management skills.

  • Manage and coordinate production issue root cause analyses and remediation, ensuring effective ways of working among various cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ring based deployments, feature flags, blue/green deployments, and health probes
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, data scientist, or related field
  • Project management training/certification
  • Ability to work on-site or hybrid in Seattle, WA (preferred) or Sunnyvale, CA
  • Familiarity with firmware development and hardware/software integration

  • Familiarity with cloud and backend services
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing the complete software product development cycle
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate technical and organizational challenges in a start-up environment while setting up for long term success as we scale
  • Familiarity with retailer supply chain and inventory management
  • Familiarity with containerization (K8s, K3s) and configuration management
  • Familiarity with observability platforms and dashboards (New Relic, Grafana, Looker)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with RFID and wireless technology
  • 5+ years of experience in software/infra program management
  • Familiarity with mobile applications development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field
  • Familiarity with edge compute, shadow controllers, network architectures
  • Proficient with project management tools including Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and methodologies including Agile (SAFe), Waterfall, Scrum, etc
  • Experience with test plan development and execution for various levels of SW validation
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (SOC 1, SOC 2, pen testing)
  • Familiarity with writing PRDs and requirements tracking software
  • Solid understanding of software development “V” process
  • Familiarity with internationalization and localization
