About The Role
Join Vestwell, a leading digital retirement platform, as a Senior Associate of Solution Design. In this role, you will be a key member of the Program Management team, driving tactical efficiency and ensuring that our operational teams have the tools they need to provide an exceptional experience for partners and clients. You will partner with stakeholders across business units to analyze and document the impact of new products and opportunities on operational processes and systems. You will also assist in managing and updating a long-term solution roadmap, evaluate and communicate system requirements, and author and update internal and external documentation. - Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to analyze and document how new products and opportunities will impact operational processes and systems.
- Take analysis and turn it into actionable requirements that can be handed over to the teams tasked with building and/or implementation.
- Assist in managing and updating a long-term solution roadmap, and contribute to prioritization of the initiatives on the roadmap.
- Experience in the retirement, financial services or employee benefit industries
- Demonstrated abilities to balance own workload with team needs; as well as to speak up and work with managers to prioritize projects when needed
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide teams with required input for implementation
- Drive to lift up team members through collaboration, training, and coordination
- The ability to dig deep into the details of one product or process while keeping the big picture in mind
- Love of learning and growth, to continue to level-up technical and softer skills
- Continued growth in industry and regulatory knowledge, to support prioritization efforts (balancing efficiency with regulatory requirements)
- Strong written/oral communication and organization skills
- Proficiency with process documentation and workflow mapping
- Understanding of the retirement and employee benefit industry
- Familiarity with contracting, agreements and DocuSign
- Extensive knowledge of ERISA rules and requirements
- Prior experience working in an agile or scrum framework
