Software Engineer

In this role, you will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to integrate Vestwell's systems with third-party data and services. You will collaborate with other engineers to determine architecture and design for SaaS integrations, orchestrate data transfers and synchronization across multiple systems, and monitor and support third-party system integrations. • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to integrate Vestwell’s systems with third-party data and services.
• Orchestrate data transfers and synchronization across multiple internal and external systems, and monitor and support third-party system integrations.
• Contribute to the architecture and design for SaaS integrations, and work closely with other Engineers to implement service-oriented systems.

• Knowledge of AWS services
• Understanding of Agile practices such as Scrum and Kanban
• Unit testing experience and knowledge of TDD
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Experience with Typescript, Node.js and NestJS
• Experience implementing service oriented systems
• Experience with SQL-based databases
• Expertise with Git
• Experience using the React framework, HTML, and CSS
• An understanding of SRE best practices, such as post-mortems, logging, and alerting
• Experience with CI/CD and automation pipelines using Jenkins
• Knowledge of financial systems
• CS Degree
