Staff Software Engineer

Join our Engineering team as a Staff Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for product feature development and architecture, working on all levels of our engineering stack. You will create and maintain optimal software using Typescript, establish best practices in code, and work with stakeholders to support their product development needs. You will also provide production support, train junior engineers, and drive the vision for architecture and design across multiple product verticals.

• Advanced knowledge Agile practices
• Experience scaling and managing 3+ person teams
• Ability to triage and assign work
• Experience with Python
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and Cursor
• Extensive development experience
• Experience working with and supporting cross functional teams
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Demonstrated experience with Software Architecture and Design
• Experience with Typescript and Node.js
• Experience with relational databases
• Data Architecture experience
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Extensive use of Git, preferably Github
• Has experience working with and leading remote contractors
• Experience mentoring more junior engineers
• Fintech experience
• Building pipelines in Jenkins
• Startup experience
