Director of Sales (Industrial-Precision)

Join Aeva, a leader in high-precision sensing technology, as the Director of Sales for industrial automation and precision manufacturing. In this role, you will define market strategies, build key partnerships, and drive product adoption. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams, and represent Aeva at industry conferences and trade shows. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in business development, product marketing, or strategic sales within industrial automation, precision sensing, or laser displacement technology.

• Defining market strategies, building key partnerships, and driving product adoption in industrial automation.
• Developing and executing go-to-market strategies for laser displacement and high-precision sensing solutions.
• Leading business development efforts to expand the company's presence in manufacturing, robotics, and industrial automation sectors.
• This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in laser displacement technology and high-precision sensing solutions for industrial applications
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for high-tech industrial products
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and product management teams
• Deep technical understanding of laser displacement sensors, LiDAR, 3D camera, line-scanner, and other high-precision measurement technologies used in manufacturing and robotics
• 10+ years of experience in business development, product marketing, or strategic sales within industrial automation, precision sensing, or laser displacement technology
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
• Strong network within industrial automation, factory automation, and high-precision measurement industries
• Background in optics, photonics, or semiconductor-based sensing technologies
• Prior experience working with robotics, metrology, or machine vision companies
• Experience scaling business operations in a high-growth startup environment
• Technical degree (Physics, Engineering, or related) with an MBA preferred
