Research Engineer (Knowledge Team)

Join Anthropic, a leading AI safety and research company, as a Research Engineer in the Knowledge Team. In this role, you will redesign how our language model, Claude, interacts with external data sources. You will design new information architecture strategies, perform finetuning and reinforcement learning, build knowledge base evaluation sets, and evaluate advanced search capabilities. You will also collaborate with product teams, develop scalable distributed information retrieval systems, and have the opportunity to partner with world-class ML researchers.
