Staff+ Software Engineer (Identity & Access Controls)

Join Anthropic, a leading AI safety and research company, as a Staff+ Software Engineer on the Identity & Access Controls team. In this role, you will build the infrastructure for identity verification, access control, and monitoring to ensure responsible deployment of advanced AI capabilities. You will work closely with various teams to make informed access decisions and contribute to the societal impact of AI.

• Construire des systèmes de vérification et de diligence raisonnable en matière d'identité (KYC/KYB) qui établissent qui sont nos clients individuels et commerciaux.

• Experience building and operating backend systems in production
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Care about the societal impacts of AI and want your work to make powerful systems safer
• Experience with identity, authentication, or authorization systems at scale
• Experience with KYC/KYB workflows or identity verification vendors
• Experience in trust and safety, integrity, fraud, or abuse detection
• Experience detecting and responding to account takeover or credential compromise
• Experience partnering with operational teams to build custom internal tooling
