Staff Backend Software Engineer (Portfolio Data Workflows)

• Design, develop, and implement robust API services to support the rapidly growing European customer base.
• Lead architecture designs and product roadmap creation, driving the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
• Mentor, coach, and empower other engineers, contributing to an inclusive and high-performing team culture.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and make significant contributions to the architecture of complex, distributed systems
• You have a deep and expert knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and the software development lifecycle
• Experience building services with Java, SQL and AWS
• Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in a professional engineering environment
• A rapid learner with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
• You have extensive experience in software development, including building backend services in a professional environment
• You have a track record of amplifying your impact by mentoring other engineers and collaborating effectively within a team of senior peers
• A curious person, who enjoys digging deep into requirements and handling complexity
• Experience with Elasticsearch is a nice-to-have
• Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems
• Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management in particular
