Electronics Test Engineer (Manufacturing)

About The Role
Join CesiumAstro, a leading-edge satellite manufacturing company, as a Manufacturing Test Engineer II. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and executing engineering test plans and procedures. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address company-wide hardware test needs, manage lab and equipment, and guide key equipment purchase decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of hardware and software knowledge, experience in a production environment, and excellent communication skills.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to lead and develop test requirements, mapping requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures.
- Implement test plans and procedures, and log and present results to key stakeholders.
- Manage lab and equipment, guide key equipment purchase decisions, and evaluate non-conformances to determine root cause.

- The ideal candidate possesses a strong combination of hardware and software knowledge with proficiencies in test equipment, test architectures, and automation
- Engineers on this team must have working knowledge of overall schematics, operations, manufacturing, testing
- Demonstrated engineering intuition, critical thinking, and comfort with ambiguity
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) with 2+ years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Programming or scripting experience (Python or C#)
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of test systems
- Experience in a production environment
- Test architecture design and development including scripting, test executives, hardware, and measurement abstraction layers
- Experience writing test plans, procedures and providing go/no-go judgment and rationale
- Applied experience in test optimization for manufacturing environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Programming or scripting experience (MATLAB, C/C++, etc.)
- Proficiency with statistics and metrology
- Understanding of RF and mixed-signal hardware (e.g. amplifiers, filters, ADCs/DACs, antennas)
