Marketing Event and Trade Show Manager

About The Role
Join CesiumAstro, a leading aerospace and defense company, as a Marketing Event and Trade Show Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing external events, tradeshows, customer engagements, sponsorship activities, and industry association participation. You will work closely with various teams, manage logistics, oversee vendor relationships, and support customer-facing engagements. This position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
- Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of CesiumAstro’s tradeshow, conference, customer engagement, and event participation activities.
- Manage the company’s participation in major industry tradeshows, conferences, and customer-facing events, ensuring successful execution from initial planning through post-event follow-up and evaluation.
- Partner with Marketing Communications, Business Development, Product Management, and Engineering teams to develop event messaging, presentations, collateral, demonstrations, and engagement activities aligned with business objectives.
- The ideal candidate is a highly organized and resourceful marketing professional with strong project management capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to successfully manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously
- Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with aerospace, defense, technology, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong vendor management, contract coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and project management capabilities
- Advanced knowledge of tradeshow planning, event logistics, customer engagement practices, and event management best practices
- Working knowledge of branding, marketing communications, customer experience, and lead generation principles
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without direct authority
- 3-6 years with MS/BA
- Working knowledge of compliance, security, and confidentiality requirements associated with customer and industry events preferred
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and execution quality
- 5-8 of experience in events, customer engagement, or tradeshow logistics with BS/BA
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- To conform with the United States Government Space Technology Export Regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., conditional resident, asylee or refugee (protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
