Senior IT Administrator

Join CesiumAstro as a Senior IT Administrator, where you will lead and execute system migration projects, drive system integrations, and coordinate companywide software and hardware upgrades. You will also manage Active Directory, administer user accounts, and support IT security practices. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and a background in IT support or systems administration.

• Plan and execute enterprise IT initiatives, including system migrations, integrations, and application rollouts.
• Lead and execute system migration projects, including planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration support.
• Drive system integrations across enterprise platforms to improve interoperability and reduce manual workflows.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and SOPs to support knowledge sharing and process consistency
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of IT ticketing systems
• Working knowledge of IT security practices including endpoint compliance, access management, and MFA
• B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Strong customer service orientation
• Expertise in Active Directory Azure AD/Entra ID, and VPN and remote access tools.
• 5–8 years of IT support or systems administration experience required (3–6 years with a relevant M.S.)
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and cloud-connected environments
• Experience with AWS cloud configuration and support
• Complete understanding and wide application of IT support and systems administration principles
• Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Certified, or ITIL Foundation
• Familiarity with ITAR/export compliance requirements in an IT context
