Senior Compensation Analyst

Join OpenTable as a Senior Compensation Analyst, where you will support the administration and evolution of our global compensation programs. You will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Compensation to ensure our pay-for-performance culture is rigorous and market-aligned. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a global team and maintain competitive programs that support our mission to serve restaurants. You will own the analysis and structuring of efficient global compensation programs, support semi-annual compensation cycles, and partner with various teams to provide data-driven recommendations.

• Support the administration and evolution of OpenTable’s global compensation programs and philosophy, ensuring alignment with market standards.
• Manage data analysis and troubleshoot technical issues during semi-annual compensation cycles, collaborating with HRIS systems team.
• Partner with various departments to provide data-driven recommendations that support hiring, internal movement, and strategy alignment.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex compensation fundamentals to diverse stakeholders
• 5+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a related analytical field such as Financial Planning
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience with macros and VBA for complex data modeling
• Proven ability to manage and deliver high-quality, error-free work products with strong attention to detail
• Experience with Workday’s advanced compensation functionality and HRIS systems
• Technical proficiency or education related to APIs and SQL queries
• Background working in high-technology or internet-based environments
• Experience in both "in-house" and consulting environments
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
