Integrations Engineer

As an Integrations Engineer, you will own the technical strategy and execution lifecycle of integrations with our API providers, work cross-functionally with various teams, and help design the Integrations Engineering function at Merge. This role is perfect for someone with a technical background and coding abilities who enjoys business-oriented problem solving. • Own the technical strategy and execution lifecycle of integrations with API providers, from ideation to launch.
• Work cross-functionally with partnerships, engineering, post-sales, and product teams to deliver enterprise-grade integrations.
• Advocate for Integration Engineering needs internally, and lead projects related to data quality and internal tooling.
• We are looking for experienced engineers who are able to autonomously drive initiatives to improve the overall product experience
• Strong communication skills, adept at interfacing with different audiences and communicating complex technical concepts
• Prior experience with APIs and integrations is a plus
• Bias to action & preference for being hands on -- Integrations Engineers work on powering mission-critical integrations for our customers, so we’re not afraid to jump in and become owners!
• Ability to manage responsibilities across different areas such as working cross functionally, debugging and building on APIs, or writing documentation
• 1+ years in engineering roles, preferably with startup exposure
• Strong technical understanding and problem solving, preferably in the form of a prior Computer Science background or other engineering orientation
