About The Role

Join Merge, a fast-growing startup, as a Software Engineer. We are looking for both backend and full stack engineers at the senior and mid-level. You will be part of our expansion engineering team, which powers the core sync engine, and our experience engineering team, which focuses on delivering a seamless and intuitive user experience. You will participate in roadmapping and architecture discussions, produce high-quality code, lead large projects, and support your team. Participate in roadmapping and architecture discussions, and lead large projects from initial inception to production.
Produce high-quality, production-ready, readable, maintainable code, and unblock and support your team of peers.
Work on both backend and full stack engineering tasks, contributing to the core sync engine and customer-facing surfaces.
Experience with frameworks (Django, Rails, Spring, React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.)
Extensive knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres preferred)
An ability to perform in a fast paced environment and deal with ambiguity
Experience with design systems, modern styling, and frontend testing practices a plus
Startup or SaaS experience preferred
5-8+ years of full-time software engineering experience (*open to multiple levels of seniority)
