Senior Product Engineer

Join our team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, AI Platform. In this role, you will design, implement, and operate backend and fullstack systems that incorporate AI as a core component. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and other stakeholders to shape solutions and contribute to roadmap discussions. You will also own the system end to end, ensuring reliability, security, privacy, and scalability in a regulated healthcare context. This is a unique opportunity to work in an AI native, agentic world and help evolve our platform toward an agent-driven future in healthcare.

• Design, implement, and operate backend and fullstack systems that incorporate LLMs, tools, and agents as core components.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, and other stakeholders to shape solutions, not just implement specs.
• Use modern AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code/Codex/Pi/Cursor) to accelerate development, refactoring, and exploration.
• You ship and you iterate based on real world feedback
• 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong knowledge of major parts of our tech stack (AWS, Java, Typescript)
• Strong system design skills and comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces
• Strong experience in building with LLMs in production, not just prototypes
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Clear enthusiasm for the capabilities and opportunities of AI and agentic systems
• You see AI as a new abstraction layer, not a gimmick
• You don’t wait for perfect specs; you help create them!
• You’re curious and opinionated about where software development is going
• Experience designing, building, and operating long running workflows, background jobs, or distributed systems
• Familiarity with healthcare, regulated products, or safety critical systems
• Startup or fast moving product environment experience
