Director of Strategy & Operations (A.I)

• Serve as Maven's "context engineer" by building and maintaining the internal knowledge management infrastructure that makes AI agents effective.
• Spearhead how Maven uses AI across every team by making the AI-native path the path of least resistance.
• Partner with executives to define and drive Maven's most important strategic initiatives, translating company goals into clear cross-functional plans.
• This role is ideal for someone earlier in their career who is already living in the AI-native world, is energized by the organizational transformation question, and is ready to operate above their title
• Strong business judgment — you think about systems, incentives, and organizational behavior, not just tools and workflows

• Experience in healthcare, benefits, or complex B2B businesses is a plus
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across teams you do not directly manage
• Genuine obsession with AI and how it is changing work — you use it constantly, you follow the discourse, and you have strong opinions about what is working and what is not
• 4–7 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product operations, or a high-growth technology environment
• Experience in knowledge management, internal operations, or AI tooling is a plus
• Builder mentality — energized by creating things from scratch, not optimizing what already exists
• Highly analytical and comfortable with data, models, metrics, and dashboards
• Exceptional written communication — you produce clear, well-structured documents and memos that make complex ideas legible to a senior audience
