FinOps Engineer (12 Month FTC)

Join our team as a FinOps Engineer, where you will drive financial accountability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across cloud platforms. You will develop and execute a comprehensive FinOps roadmap, establish governance policies, and collaborate with various teams to ensure cost transparency and budgeting discipline. Additionally, you will design and implement a FinOps observability platform, integrate cloud cost management tools into the SDLC, and promote FinOps best practices across engineering teams. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity to make a significant impact in the digital transition to a cleaner world.

• Drive financial accountability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across cloud platforms.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive FinOps roadmap aligned with organizational goals, and establish governance policies for resource utilization.
• Design and implement a FinOps observability platform to monitor cloud costs and usage, and integrate cloud cost management tools into the SDLC.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with cost management tools
• Ability to design governance frameworks and implement automation for cost optimization
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated cost models
• Proven experience in FinOps, Cloud Operations, or Cloud Financial Management
• Background in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Architecture
• FinOps Certified Practitioner or similar certification
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial processes in large organizations
