Engineering Manager (Platform)

Join our team as an Engineering Manager (Platform) where you will lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for building the shared systems and infrastructure that power our products. You will invest in your engineers' growth and development, create clarity around priorities and goals, and drive how the team applies AI across the software lifecycle. You will also take on targeted engineering work, keep engineering coherent, and establish yourself as a trusted partner to technical leadership.

• Lead and grow a team of engineers who build the shared systems and infrastructure that power products.
• Hire, grow, and retain excellent engineers, owning their career development, performance reviews, and compensation input.
• Create clarity around priorities, goals, and execution across multiple workstreams, drawing on technical fluency and understanding of business objectives.
• While deep technical fluency is required, your leverage comes primarily through people, process, and judgment rather than writing production code
• Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing engineers
• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy domains
• Experience driving execution in fast-moving, high-growth environments
• Sound business judgment and excellent communication
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices and system design, sufficient to guide direction across platform domains and to earn the trust of senior engineers, even outside your area of specialization
• 4+ years of experience as an engineering manager
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience leading or building cloud infrastructure, platform, or shared-services systems
• Exposure to the demands of AI/ML workloads, such as LLM-based applications or data-intensive products
• Background in startups or high-growth environments
