Forward Deployed Engineer

Join Norm Ai as a Forward Deployed Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of software engineering and client solutions strategy. You'll work directly with enterprise clients and the executive team to architect and implement AI-driven compliance solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing workflows. Your role will involve leading technical implementation and integration efforts, designing and implementing scalable ETL pipelines, and developing client-specific customizations to Norm's platform. You'll also educate end-users on how Norm works and collaborate with the legal engineering team to translate regulatory requirements into practical technical solutions.

• Architect and implement AI-driven compliance solutions that integrate seamlessly into customer workflows.
• Lead technical implementation and integration efforts with enterprise clients, ensuring effective deployment of AI compliance solutions.
• Collaborate with client technical teams to understand their infrastructure, security requirements, and compliance needs.
• 4+ years experience writing Python or similar for production use
• Excited to work/iterate with customers
• Experience writing ETL data pipelines and working with key customer SMEs to map ambiguous customer data into a coherent data model
• 1+ years of experience working with enterprise customers in a technical client-facing role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, etc.)
• Bachelors or Masters in computer science or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience writing APIs, including working with libraries such as FastAPI
• Experience working with a Postgres database or similar
• Experience working in a startup and handling highly ambiguous requirements and situations
• Experience with React/TypeScript and Next.js
• Experience with Dagster or Apache Airflow
