Join Norm Law, a leading law firm specializing in private investment funds. As a Tax Associate, you will support a comprehensive funds tax practice, working on entity structuring, fund formation, manager advisory, and portfolio transactions. You will leverage AI technology to enhance efficiency and focus on strategic legal judgment and client engagement. Support a 360-degree funds tax practice representing marquee managers across private equity, real estate, venture, and hedge.
Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, and redline fund formation documents, LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, and tax opinion memoranda.
Integrate AI agents into workflow management across the full fund lifecycle — entity structuring, UBTI/ECI analysis, tax-exempt and non-U.S. investor vehicles, and portfolio transactions.
Juris Doctor (JD); active bar admission in New York
3–5 years of tax experience at a top law firm, with meaningful exposure to private investment funds (private equity, venture, and/or hedge)
Interest in building AI-assisted workflows
Strong technical foundation in partnership tax; familiarity with UBTI, ECI, and fund structuring for diverse investor bases
