About The Role

Join our team as an Analytics Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in scaling our analytics capabilities. You will bridge the gap between raw data and business insight, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our metrics. Your technical skills in data modeling and semantic layers will be essential in building and maintaining scalable internal data models. Additionally, you will support decision-making through ad-hoc analyses and help define and document business definitions and KPIs. Enjoy a flexible work schedule, free drinks at the office, regular company events, mentoring and career development opportunities, and the ability to work from another country for up to 3 months a year.

  • Map, document, and evaluate current data models, metrics, and reporting flows, and propose improvements that enable scalability and self-service analytics.
  • Build and maintain metrics for Investor Reporting using dbt metrics, ensuring they are accurate, well-documented, and aligned with agreed business definitions.
  • Ensure consistency between metrics in Investor Reporting and in Looker, performing regular cross-checks and validations to guarantee a single source of truth.
  • Strong SQL skills and solid Python proficiency for data transformation, validation, and analytics workflows
  • Solid understanding of semantic layer concepts and BI consistency practices, ideally with hands-on experience in Looker or similar tools
  • Proven experience building and maintaining dbt models and metrics, including Marts and Gold/last-mile layers
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for data quality, consistency, and continuous improvement
  • Interest in or experience with agentic AI systems, including LLM-powered workflows and multi-agent architectures applied to analytics
  • A strong business logic mindset, able to understand what a metric means, not just how it is calculated, and to spot when something doesn't add up
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
