About The Role

Join Teleo, a fast-growing startup, as a Senior Electrical Engineer. You will take ownership of board-level electrical hardware from schematic to production, manage the full lifecycle of PCB design, and establish validation and test practices. You will also collaborate with the embedded firmware team and provide guidance to junior engineers. The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, 5+ years of professional experience in PCB design, and is comfortable working on-site in Palo Alto, CA.

  • Strong Experience With:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
  • Demonstrated ability to own board designs end to end with minimal oversight
  • Strong analog and digital circuit design fundamentals
  • Experience managing contract manufacturers and fab houses through DFM and production
  • Hands-on validation and debugging: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, load testing
  • Proficient in KiCad (schematic capture, layout, BOM management)
  • Experience designing low-voltage power circuits with high-current stages
  • Comfortable working on-site in Palo Alto, CA
  • 5+ years of professional electrical engineering experience with a focus on PCB design through production
  • Maintaining clean, well-documented schematics and BOMs across multiple active designs
  • Rapid iteration: comfortable spinning boards quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Mixed-signal design: high-precision analog, sensor interfaces, galvanic isolation
  • DFM practices: panelization, tolerancing, component selection for manufacturability
  • Compliance and EMC testing processes
  • Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or ruggedized industrial environments
  • Familiarity with embedded firmware concepts — enough to be a strong partner during bring-up
  • Experience establishing electrical engineering standards and validation processes on a small team
  • Early-stage startup experience — comfortable with broad ownership and fast iteration
