Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Flock's financial operations, leading the accounting team, and driving improvements across the finance function. • Oversee a team responsible for completion of all day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, credit control, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and ledger management.
• Produce monthly management accounts and statutory reporting, partnering with FP&A to deliver insightful analysis.
• Review, challenge, and improve finance processes to make them scalable, efficient, and resilient.

### **WHAT YOU’ll BRING TO FLOCK:**
**ESSENTIAL**

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 3 years PQE.
• Strong track record in insurance, financial services, or a regulated industry.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge and experience leading month-end close and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with accounts receivable and credit control processes.
• Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail; a self-starter
• Strong communication skills, able to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• A process mindset: motivated by building simple, scalable, and effective financial processes.
• Energy, ambition, and a desire to deliver change.

**PREFERABLE**

• Previous experience in an insurance MGA or insurtech environment.
• Experience leading or supporting finance transformation initiatives.
• Exposure to modern finance tools, automation, or AI applications in finance.
