Frontier Agents (Intern, Fall 2026)

Join our team as a Research Intern in the field of frontier AI systems. You will work on complex, multi-step tasks and workflows across text and speech, with a focus on agentic and scientific domains. Your projects may involve developing new training methods, curating datasets, studying failure modes, or building infrastructure for agent operations at scale. This internship offers a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of AI agents and contribute to influential open-source projects.

• Investigate and develop new training recipes for self-learning and long-horizon reasoning in frontier AI systems.
• Design and conduct rigorous experiments to validate hypotheses, and document findings in scientific publications and blog posts.
• Collaborate with the team to communicate plans, progress, and results of projects, and contribute to influential open source projects.
• Publications at leading ML, NLP, or speech conferences or journals (such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, *ACL, EMNLP, Interspeech)
• Currently pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with Transformer architectures and recent developments in foundation models
• Understanding of how LLMs work
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, etc.)
