Lead Product Designer

Join our product team as a Lead Product Designer, where you'll shape AI development tools and lay the foundation for our growing design organization. You'll lead complex UX initiatives, elevate design quality, and establish processes and standards for future team growth. Your role will involve crafting user flows, prototyping interactions, launching new product features, and contributing to our design system. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, product management, AI research, and design peers, engage in user research, and ensure strong implementation quality.

• Ideally, you are biased toward long-term and keep your eyes on priorities, are used to self-managing projects you take ownership over from start to finish and know how to involve others outside your role
• You are a fast learner who can quickly ramp in complex technical domains and independently build context around AI and developer workflows
• Experienced in user research
• Experience designing enterprise software
• Champion user-centered culture across organization
• Proven ability to ramp quickly in new technical environments
• Foster cross-functional collaboration at senior levels
• Experience designing complex software used daily by technical users
• Demonstrated experience building, scaling, or significantly contributing to a production design system, including component architecture and cross-product consistency
• Love thinking through complex interaction design problems
• Develop scalable design practices for team growth
• Advanced skills in UX and interaction design
• Creative problem-solving. Preferably with a systematic, long-term approach
• Partner with exec team on strategic product decisions
• Promote consistent design standards and systems thinking across products
• 7+ of experience in a professional software product-driven environment
• High standards for visual, interaction, and product craftsmanship
• Technical enough to learn about the needs of our users
• Experience with data-informed design
• Set and maintain a high bar for design quality and craft across teams
• Enjoy tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into a clear vision
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Can consume and interpret user interaction data
• Experience building developer tools, IDEs, infrastructure platforms, or data products
• Get excited about being immersed in the AI ecosystem and defining how tooling for AI services should look and behave
• Drive design vision for AI development tooling ecosystem
