• Lead and manage user research initiatives across Core Banking, shaping a coherent Personal Banking research strategy that spans multiple product areas.
• Partner closely with the Core Banking Leadership Team, Product Directors, Design leaders, and senior stakeholders to influence company strategy and product roadmaps.
• Manage and support a team of researchers, ensuring high-quality research outputs and fostering an environment that balances methodological rigor with the speed needed to build great products.
• Making thoughtful trade-offs between research depth, pace and business impact
• Coaching research leaders while maintaining a high quality bar across multiple teams
• Partnering with Product, Design, Engineering and Data Science leaders to influence roadmaps and business strategy
• Working across multiple product areas, bringing together disparate customer insights into a coherent strategic narrative
• Shaping and influencing product strategy through research at both organisational and executive level
• Navigating complex stakeholder environments where different teams have competing priorities, metrics and timelines
• Building alignment across large organisations and landing new ways of working with multidisciplinary teams
• Combining qualitative research with quantitative signals, product data and market insights to develop strategic recommendations
• Leading senior researchers and/or research managers within a complex product organisation
