About The Role
Join our team as a Tool Designer, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving production tooling used in the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft interior components. You will collaborate with various teams to define tooling requirements, ensure compliance with aerospace standards, and troubleshoot tooling issues on the shop floor. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field is required, along with 3-7 years of experience in tooling design, preferably in aerospace. Proficiency in CAD software and knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes are essential.
- Design and develop production tooling used in the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft interior components.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, production, quality, and program teams to define tooling requirements and ensure designs meet aerospace standards.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues on the shop floor and implement continuous improvement solutions.
