Lead User Experience Designer (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Join our team as a Lead User Experience Designer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will lead a design team, shape and implement experience strategy, and engage with leadership to understand objectives and opportunities. You will also provide leadership to a team of multi-disciplinary designers and establish a growth culture. • Lead and work as part of a design team supporting a core product area within Experience Design, providing guidance to partners and development teams.
• Take full ownership of design output, providing rationale for design decisions and confidently presenting work to internal customers.
• Shape and implement experience strategy for the product area, understanding customer needs and influencing the roadmap and overall product strategy.
• A strong strategic vision that aligns well to the overall business strategy
• Experience of leading teams, inspiring, with the ability to rally teams and partners around ambitious goals
• Strong people negation skills
• Exceptional communicator, able to share ideas and successes in compelling, engaging ways
• A minimum 8 years demonstrable experience within User Experience design/Interaction Design
