About The Role

Join Meritis, an IT consulting and development firm, as a Data Engineer. You will be responsible for developing efficient data access services, maintaining high-quality production, and managing technical debt. The ideal candidate will have experience with Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and Hive, as well as Java, SpringBoot, and microservices. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is a plus.   • Développer des services d'accès et de mise à jour pour divers référentiels de paramètres de référence pour la tarification.
  • Participer au maintien d'une production de haute qualité en veillant au respect des meilleures pratiques.
  • Gérer la dette technique dans votre domaine en encourageant la remédiation et les actions d'amélioration continue.

**Experience and technical Skills**

  • Programming languages : Scala / Hive, Java / Spring / SpringBoot, SQL & NoSQL,
  • Development environment: Visual Studio, GIT, Jenkins,
  • Big Data Solutions: Hadoop platform, Spark programming,
  • Kafka,
  • High Proficiency in developing with Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and Hive,
  • Experience around Java, SpringBoot, API’s and microservices,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Languages**

  • English fluency, both written and spoken,
  • French will be a plus.
