Finance Java Developer (M/W)

Join Meritis, an IT consulting and development firm, as a Senior Java Developer in the Investment Banking team. You will design and implement robust Java applications for E-Trading systems, collaborate with trading and operations teams, mentor junior developers, and stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of Java development experience, is proficient in Linux, and has excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des applications Java robustes et évolutives pour les systèmes de négociation électronique.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de négociation et d'exploitation pour comprendre les exigences et fournir des solutions techniques.
• Mentorer et guider les développeurs juniors, en partageant vos connaissances et votre expertise.

**Experience and technical Skills**

• At least 3 years of experience in Java development,
• Very good hands-on experience with Java (11+ versions), ideally including concurrency and performance tuning,
• Experience with unit testing and continuous integration/delivery processes,
• Experience with version control systems such as Git,
• Proficient Linux user.

**Soft Skills**

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken),
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills,
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
