Senior Dev Ops Engineer

Join Protolabs as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you will collaborate with IT, software development, and technology stakeholders to support and scale our internal and external business applications. You will be responsible for the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of version control systems, build tools, and continuous integration platforms. Additionally, you will partner with development teams to enhance application reliability and promote site reliability engineering practices. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing servers in an enterprise environment and a strong background in cloud management, code versioning, and Linux OS hardening and security.

• Collaborate with IT, software development, and technology stakeholders to support and scale Protolabs’ internal and external business applications.
• Provision, configure, operate, and maintain version control systems, build tools, and continuous integration platforms to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of software solutions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to increase deployment stability while reducing manual intervention, and design and maintain high-availability solutions.

• 2+ years experience supporting server configuration management tooling
• 5+ years experience supporting code releases into highly available applications
• 2+ years experience supporting highly available applications
• Must have the ability to take manual processes and automate them
• 5+ years experience managing servers in an enterprise environment
• Bachelor’s degree OR minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
