About The Role
Join Hims & Hers, a company dedicated to advancing modern health. As the Director of Product Communications for Hers, you will lead strategies to raise awareness, build trust and loyalty, and drive adoption of our women's health products. You will work closely with senior members of the Communications team and cross-functional partners to position Hers as a leader in women's health. - Lead and develop strategies to raise awareness, increase brand love, build trust and loyalty, and drive adoption of Hers products and services.
- Shape how we position and communicate our products and care offerings across media, internal teams, influencer and editorial channels, and key external moments.
- Drive planning, prioritization, and execution discipline within your scope, ensuring alignment across external and internal communications.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to define success, measure performance, and adjust based on impact
- You can identify areas of risk and opportunity for our narrative, and you bring experience thinking holistically about brand vision and direct-to-consumer experience
- Strong understanding of DTC product-led businesses, including how product, growth, and customer behavior connect
- Strong earned media experience, with a track record of landing stories and building sustained narratives
- You love making the complex simple and the abstract resonate
- Strong consumer instincts, with the ability to translate product value into messaging that resonates with real users
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in consumer health or other consumer-facing industries with regulatory or reputational complexity
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working across media, influencer, editorial, and event-driven communications
- Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to influence Product, Growth, Clinical, and Executive stakeholders
- 10–12+ years of experience in product communications, consumer communications, or related fields
- Experience leading issue management within a defined scope, with strong judgment in fast-moving or ambiguous situations
- Experience leveraging AI tools and strategies to enhance team and communications performance
- You thrive working in the fast pace of a startup while being the steward of a public company that serves people’s health and well being
- Experience owning a defined area of responsibility end-to-end, including shaping direction and driving execution
