As a Staff Backend Software Engineer, you will play a key role in expanding the capabilities of our cloud platform and enabling the next generation of product features. You will work closely with a cross-functional team and have the opportunity to make a real impact in the energy transformation.

Expanding the capabilities of the cloud platform and enabling new product features.
Maintaining and scaling a high-quality production service, focusing on delivering functionality that benefits the customer.
Partnering effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and integration with various hardware platforms.
Cassandra, MySQL, Kafka, and Python experience is a plus
8+ years of professional experience with a degree in a relevant field and proven track record in professional software engineering
Experienced at designing clean, usable REST APIs and integrating with partner systems
DevOps and SRE experience maintaining a production environment
Strong understanding of how to apply security and data privacy principles within your specific engineering domain
Mastery of Java, Linux, and AWS
Energy industry or climate tech experience is a plus
Authorized to work in the US
