Private Equity Intern

Join our team as a Private Equity Intern for a six-month period. You will support our investment activities by analyzing markets, industries, and companies, conducting due diligence, preparing financial models and investment memos, and providing operational support for M&A and private equity transactions. You should have prior internship experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, transaction services, or strategy consulting, and be proficient in German and English. A strong interest in AI and technology is also required.

• Support the analysis of markets, industries, business models, and companies as part of deal sourcing activities.
• Assist in the preparation and development of financial models, company valuations, sensitivity analyses, and investment cases.
• Contribute to building and refining internal processes, frameworks, and tools across the entire investment process.
• Relevant prior internship experience in at least one of the following areas: M&A, investment banking, private equity, transaction services or strategy consulting
• Full professional proficiency in German (C2) and fluent English
• High degree of initiative, ownership, willingness to learn and entrepreneurial drive
• Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of markets, business models and economic relationships
• Structured, diligent and independent working style, combined with a high standard of quality
• Strong interest in AI and in understanding how technology can transform established companies and industries
• Excellent academic performance in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering or a comparable field from a top university
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, ideally combined with initial experience in financial modelling and company valuation
• AI-native working style, including hands-on experience with modern AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar) to research, analyse and automate knowledge work
