About The Role

Join Qualus as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) based in Vancouver, Canada. In this role, you will support employees and leaders across multiple Canadian provinces, ensuring compliance with provincial employment standards and regulatory requirements. You will execute key HR initiatives, provide strategic and operational HR guidance, and manage core HR processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in multi-jurisdictional Canadian employment law and a proven track record in HR management.

  • Provide strategic and operational HR guidance aligned with business objectives and multi-provincial Canadian employment requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Canadian federal and provincial employment laws, supporting operations across all provinces.
  • Partner with business leaders to support organizational design, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law across multiple provinces, including Employment Standards Acts (ESA) in provinces such as British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick, and Ontario, as well as common law employment practices
  • Demonstrated experience applying HR policies and practices in a multi-jurisdictional environment
  • 7–10 years of progressive HR experience as a Generalist or HR Business Partner, preferably supporting multi-provincial Canadian operations
  • Proven ability to influence leaders, manage employee relations issues, and support change management initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with ROEs, benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and HR compliance
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (CHRP, CHRL, or similar Canadian HR designation is an asset)
