Business Development Representative

Join our dynamic 8am Sales Team as a Business Development Representative. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for outbound prospecting, identifying sales opportunities, and maintaining a high-level knowledge of our legal practice management software. This position offers a strong foundation for a long-term career in technology sales, with opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.

• Outbound telephone-based prospecting for the 8am products, developing and maintaining a high-level knowledge of 8am's legal practice management software.
• Identifying and prioritizing sales opportunities through direct prospecting and lead follow, maintaining call volume of 75-100 calls per day.
• Updating and maintaining Sales database as appropriate, including data discovery tied to initiatives, and documenting all sales activity in Salesforce.
• You are located in Austin, Texas with the ability to work at 8am's HQ offices 3x/week
• You have strong written communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• You are a natural storyteller
• You have experience selling technology and/or software
• You are adept at investigation and research
• You have the ability to learn and articulate complex subject matter
• You are curious and not afraid to challenge the status quo
• You have hustle and persistence
• You are highly organized and strong time management skills
• You are a great listener
• You have demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation
• You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction
• 1+ years in outbound-focused sales or other customer-oriented background
• Prior SDR/BDR experience
• Prior experience at a high-growth SaaS company
• Salesforce experience
