About The Role

Join Paperless Parts as a Platform Engineer I, where you'll contribute to building and maintaining a scalable, secure, and resilient SaaS platform for manufacturing shops. You'll work alongside senior engineers, participate in sprint ceremonies, and grow into the on-call rotation.   • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Familiarity with modern infrastructure tools, including cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (e.g., Docker), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins)
  • 0-1 years of professional experience in software, platform, or DevOps engineering; internship or co-op experience counts
  • Working knowledge of a programming or scripting language, with Python as a plus
  • A strong sense of reliability and ownership of your assigned work, with enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies
  • Basic understanding of and comfort with Linux/Unix command-line tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a collaborative mindset — you ask clarifying questions and contribute to team discussions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
