About The Role

Join Paperless Parts as a Product Designer, where you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative products for the manufacturing industry. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to create intuitive, production-ready solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading design execution, prototyping, strengthening collaboration between design and engineering, and participating in user discovery.   • Lead design execution across key areas of the product by triangulating customer workflows, technical capabilities, and product strategy into intuitive, production-ready experiences.
  • Prototype at multiple levels, from high-fidelity mockups to real front-end implementations that enable validation with customers and inform engineering direction.
  • Strengthen collaboration between Design and Engineering by acting as a partner who improves speed, quality, and shared understanding throughout the build process.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience designing user-facing AI or data-driven workflows (LLMs, automation, or intelligent assistance) is a plus; deep ML expertise is not required
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required
  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Curious, driven problem-solver
  • B2B or B2C SaaS with a metrics-driven methodology
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following:
  • Comfort working in or alongside modern front-end frameworks (React, design systems, prototyping in code, etc.)
  • Experience designing for marketing surfaces (web, brand, and campaign design) preferred but not required
  • Content, brand, or event/tradeshow design
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating shipped work, systems thinking, and technical depth
  • 4+ years' experience in Product Design, Design Engineering, or Design Technology roles
  • Understanding of modern application architectures
