About The Role
Join Halo Industries as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where you will play a key role in the design, testing, integration, and deployment of cutting-edge wafer processing equipment. You will work closely with product and manufacturing teams to optimize and scale Halo's technology. Your responsibilities will include designing and building high-precision electro-mechanical equipment, conducting root cause analysis, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines. - Contribuer à la conception, aux tests, à l'intégration et au déploiement d'équipements de traitement des wafers.
- Concevoir, construire et tester des équipements de fabrication de haute précision, de la conceptualisation initiale au déploiement en production.
- Collaborer avec les équipes de fabrication et de développement de produits pour optimiser et déployer à grande échelle la technologie de Halo.
- Proficiency in precision machine design
- Proficiency in CAD modeling (preferably Solidworks)
- Experience in GD&T
- Hands-on experience designing, assembling, testing, and debugging mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment
- Hands-on fabrication/prototyping experience, such as machining and additive manufacturing
- Experience with Structural and Thermal FEA
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of professional experience (or M.S. / Doctorate and 3+ years of professional experience) in mechanical design engineering,
- Minimal Iteration Development (get it right earlier) skills
- Experience with manufacturing documentation including BOMs and assembly drawings
- Experience in machine design for high precision industries (i.e. semiconductors, imaging, life sciences)
- Familiarity with precision engineering concepts such as micro positioning, kinematic design, dynamic system analysis, thermal compensation, etc
- Expertise in mechatronics/automation design (motor sizing, actuator design, sensor selection, etc.)
- Experience in industrial automation (robotics, transfer mechanisms, control systems)
- Past startup experience and insights/lessons learned on effective scaling from R&D to production
