About The Role

Join ClickHouse, a leading open-source analytics database, as a Principal Product Manager (Security). In this role, you will define and execute the product strategy for our security offerings, ensuring our products are robust, reliable, and meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work closely with engineering, compliance, and go-to-market teams to deliver secure features and support enterprise deployment models. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database security, networking, and identity management, with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in product management focused on security products.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of database security, networking, and identity management, and will be adept at navigating the complexities of product development from conception to launch
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in product management in B2B SaaS, with a significant focus on security products or features
  • Certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+)
  • Prior experience in security engineering is required
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance processes and methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) topics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Solid background in program management, including planning, execution, and risk management
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and their implications for security
  • Proven experience with database security principles and best practices
  • Prior experience securing a data platform, database product, or real-time analytics service
  • Familiarity with ClickHouse or other databases such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Experience supporting BYOC or private deployment models
  • Background working with open source software or developer-focused products
