Ownership of a product surface within Care Finance's provider and partner platform, ensuring reliable and high-quality delivery.
Identifying gaps in the product surface, framing problems worth solving, and considering data and compliance implications.
Mentoring junior engineers, providing timely peer feedback, and contributing to hiring processes.
Hands-on proficiency in at least one of Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript
Experience managing your own dependencies and escalating with context, not just problems
Clear written communication that helps stakeholders act, including non-engineering partners
Growing fluency with application security and compliance-regulated environments; HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2 exposure a plus
5+ years of software engineering experience delivering production systems
Reliable, high-quality craft with an AI-native approach to output
Ability to own a product surface end-to-end and work independently, seeking guidance on novel domains
