Business Finance FP&A Manager (Wattpad)

Join Wattpad, a leading storytelling platform, as a Business Finance (FP&A) Manager. In this role, you will be the P&L owner for Wattpad's overall business, driving improvements in efficiency and profitability. You will lead P&L management, financial modeling, budget ownership, and cost/efficiency management of company-wide spend. You will also act as a trusted finance business partner to leaders across Wattpad, delivering actionable insights on revenue, cost drivers, and margin improvement.

• Own the Wattpad P&L end-to-end, identifying business inefficiencies and driving profitability-improvement initiatives with an ROI-first mindset.
• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and strategic planning processes, building and maintaining P&L forecasts and financial models that translate strategy into measurable financial outcomes.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to leaders across Wattpad, delivering actionable insights on revenue, cost drivers, and margin improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace (GWS); demonstrated interest in applying AI tools such as Claude AI to finance workflows
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels
• Minimum of 5 years’ FP&A, business finance, or corporate finance experience, including hands-on P&L management, budgeting/forecasting, and financial modeling
• Solid understanding of P&L structure, ROI analysis, and budget/cost management across hosting fees, software, tools, cloud, and security-related tool spend
• Prior exposure to AOP/strategic planning cycles and business partnering with non-finance teams (Engineering, IT, Product, Marketing, Content)
• Experience optimizing SaaS/software, server, and cloud/hosting costs, including usage analysis and vendor negotiations
• Experience analyzing marketing ROI, content investment returns, or subscription-based (paid content) business models
• Korean/English bilingual proficiency
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• MBA, MS in Finance, or CPA designation
• Ability to adapt quickly and add value in a fast-paced team environment
