Senior Manager (Global Corporate Development)

Join WEBTOON, a leading global platform for webcomics, as a Senior Manager in Global Corporate Development. In this critical role, you will identify, evaluate, and execute strategic growth opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions and new business development. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with the company's strategic priorities and lead the deal process from sourcing to execution. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of M&A experience, strong financial analysis skills, and excellent communication abilities.

• Identifying, evaluating, and completing strategic growth opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and new business development.
• Collaborating with leaders across different business functions to gather market insights and support strategy and M&A activity.
• Leading or supporting the deal process from sourcing to execution, including constructing detailed financial and valuation models.
• Ability to manage different working cultures and timezones
• Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Minimum 7+ years of M&A experience (investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate development)
• Strong knowledge or interest of the U.S. media & entertainment landscape
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team player
• Proficiency in financial modelling and driving M&A deals to completion
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; capable of building complex financial models and executive-ready presentations with structured rationale to support decision-making
• Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• BA or equivalent experience required; MBA and/or international experience a plus
• Professional working fluency in spoken and written Korean or Japanese a plus
• Experience working for a major entertainment company a plus
