Senior Product Manager (Data Platform & Intelligence - Wattpad)

Join Wattpad as a Senior Product Manager, where you'll lead the strategy and roadmap for our data platform and product intelligence capabilities. This role is not a traditional analytics or reporting position; instead, you'll build the platform that enables our products to make smarter decisions. You'll collaborate with various teams to transform raw product events into reusable data products, trusted metrics, and decision-ready insights. Your work will shape how we understand readers, measure success, personalize experiences, run experiments, and make real-time decisions.

• 7+ years of Product Management experience, with experience owning platform, infrastructure, developer, AI, or data products
• Experience working closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Software Engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executive audiences
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures including event pipelines, data products, warehouses, semantic layers, metrics stores, feature stores, and APIs
• Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous environments while balancing long term platform investments with near term business value
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to identify reusable platform capabilities instead of one-off solutions
• Experience defining product strategy across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
• Experience with modern product analytics and experimentation platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools for product measurement, behavioural analytics, and experimentation
