Staff Accountant (Webtoon, Contractor)

Join our dynamic team as a Staff Accountant. In this contractor role, you will support the end-to-end lifecycle of financial reporting, manage accounts payable and receivable, assist with month-end closing activities, and provide general accounting support. This position offers exposure to global financial processes and complex accounting environments.

• Strong sense of ownership, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to thrive under tight month-end closing deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills (e.g., XLOOKUP, pivot tables) with experience handling large datasets
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and corporate tax principles
• 1+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience; prior experience in a large national public accounting firm or Big 4 is a plus
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or NetSuite
• Actively pursuing or already holding a CPA license
• Understanding of the entertainment or digital content industry
